MD Pharmaceuticals Pvt. Ltd. established on 21 Oct 2014 with the aim of improving lives of patients with quality and affordable medicines. At MD Pharmaceuticals Pvt. Ltd., we market 19 brands and 36 SKUs in specialty segments like Ortho, gynac, pediatrics and consulting physicians. These brands are manufactured through 11 third party WHO and GMP certified manufacturers and marketed by MD pharmaceuticals Pvt. Ltd., with the help of our medical representatives to 600 specialized doctors to prescribe it from 250 medical stores.

We have office in Aurangabad and warehouse in Sillod, which store our goods and supply it to 8 distributors appointed by us. Untill Oct 2019 we used to operate in only 3 cities (Aurangabad, Sillod, Jalna). From Nov-19 we expanded our field force to 3 more cities viz. Buldhana, Beed and Nasik. We have 10 people working for MD pharmaceuticals Pvt. Ltd., out of which 4 medical representatives covers these cities where we have strong presence. We cover around 600 doctors and 250 chemists to market our brands.

We started our company with capital of mare Rs 45,000 and tasted early success and continued our pace year on year. In 2017 our sales touched 61.22 Lakhs. In 2018 we grew by 48% to touch 90.4 Lakhs. In current year from March-19 to Dec-19 we have touched 79.3 Lakhs and expected to close the year with 1.40 Cr of sales with the growth of 55%. Our current inventory has salable value of 46.8 Lakhs and we focus of reducing inventory days to maximize our profitability.

In current year (March to Dec 2019) out of our 79.3 Lakhs of sale we spent 33.3 Lakhs on manufacturing of brands (Gross margin- 58%). We incurred 19.5 lakhs on sales and marketing, administrative and field force expenses. Our EBIT in current year stands at 34%.

We focus on strong top line and bottom line for coming years and want to augment our current model and expand in 8 more cities in Maharashtra.
